A community collaboration co-chaired by RHCDA and Housing and Community Solutions, Inc. and in partnership with Social Compact, with the goal of creating market data that reveals the strengths of our community and can be utilized to impact access to healthy food, financial services, economic opportunities, and more in order to create sustainable communities.
The St. Louis DrillDown can assist community groups by providing accurate, strength-based market data with a focus on purchasing power and retail “leakage”. The data can be used to potentially attract new investment and needed services to neighborhoods.
Investors can use the DrillDown data to reveal new opportunities for sustainable and socially-responsible investment. Social Compact’s board is made up of financial experts and retail site specialists who ensure the resulting DrillDown market data is accurate and actionable.
The DrillDown data can assist foundations in targeting limited resources for maximum impact by helping to identify which community needs can be filled by private investment, and which needs, while important for reasons of equity and community health, are not currently feasible for the private market to provide.
